Russian Entrenching Tool Shovel With Leather Cover This is a nice example of a russian military entrenching tool which is well marked and dated 1906 and is still wearing its leather cover. It is mounted with a shovel lbade that measures 7 5/8 inches in length by 5 3/4 inches wide. The shovel although has darkened with age, does continue to wear some of the original finish. The wooden shaft also remains healthy in condition. The leather covering shows a little wear on one side, nevertheless does remain in good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 20 3/4 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction).
